Team FREDNET - Race to the Moon

2008-May-17 The Team FREDNET Education Outreach program has a FIRST Invite

Students at New York's Stuyvesant HS have a Robotics Team that has been successfully competing the the annual FIRST Robotics Competition for years. This Spring '08 they made it to the finals winning the Engineering Inspiration Award along the way. Members of the club wanted to participate in a GLXP effort and found Team FREDNET. Our team was rolling out a program to reach out to schools and students to involve them in the new Open Source race to the moon. Serendipity! We are excited and honored to have the Stuy Pulse Team and it's members participating with Team FREDNET going "to the moon" !
